Miranda Sex Garden

 

Miranda Sex Garden's first album was a mostly a cappella exorcise with female voices that would fit in at a Renn Faire but probably nowhere else.  Things got interesting, however, when they began mixing rock and folk instruments in with those vocals, to crushing and dramatic effect.
